This website provides the findings of an extensive study conducted by Intel Corporation and Enthone Inc. that clearly demonstrate that not all immersion silver final finishes are the same. The study details production results further ratified by design of experiment (DOE) testing. The data conclusively show that AlphaSTAR was the only silver finish that easily passed the acceptance criteria for planar microvoids as established by Intel.
